Previous to the newour fitters on Tour would have to run back and forth to the Tour Van when we needed to adjust the loft and lie of a driver, change a shaft or build an entirely new club.

Several functions may not titpeist.

The hosel allows for independent setting of loft and lie for woods and hybrids. We found both the D2 and D3 totleist to be every bit as good as the previous versions. Make the lie angle more upright and you can see how the face will point slightly to the left as the toe raises.

Performance The Titleist D3 will not allow you to drive the ball 30 yards farther than a properly fit driver from four years ago. R11 is good but IMO this one is alot better. There was a slight improvement in forgiveness from the larger sweet areas and the optimised sound and feel at impact were excellent. Combining this with the SureFit Tour hosel and you have a driver which should meet all the needs of the better player.

Comments and questions are appreciated. I shall give it a second chance, but first impressions are crucial and their was no love at first sight with this guy. Titleist Driver Review – Golfalot

This compliments the weight redistribution mentioned above, by helping to push the center of gravity down and further back. And again, the grip thing drives me a little nuts but for some reason I cannot bring myself to hlw off a perfectly new grip just because it seems to be on twisted — see note above. As you open the face opens, the loft is reduced. So I walked away a little disapointed.
